How to use

This is a translation. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean version prevails.

With just a few photos, you can make a movie starring you, a challenge where you do the dance, or a meme video with you in it. Every video is made by AI and carries a label saying it was made with AI.

1. Movies

1. Pick: Choose a title in the Movies tab. Tap the (?) on a poster or long-press it to preview the story.
2. Episodes: Every movie is a series of episodes. In the title's "Episodes" tab, make one episode at a time starting with Episode 1; watched in order, they form one film. Making all remaining episodes at once is discounted. You pick role, mood and outfit in Episode 1, and later episodes keep the same settings so you look the same throughout.
3. Face photos: Take a front photo where your face is clearly visible, and if you can, add left and right side views too. With three photos, the face looks more like you. Take off hats, sunglasses and masks, and shoot in a bright place.
4. Done: In a few minutes, your video arrives in your Library. You can close the app while it's being made. We'll let you know when it's ready.

Preview: Before spending a lot, you can first watch a short 3-second scene for 1 credits. Tap "1-credit preview" on the movie's screen. The preview uses the same engine and quality as the full video, so you can see how your face will look.

Shoot with friends: For titles with supporting roles, you can invite friends to appear with you. Each friend costs 1 more credits, and the lead (the person who invited) pays. Friends open the link, upload their own face photos and give consent. If everyone hasn't joined within 24 hours, you can choose to fill empty roles with AI actors, keep waiting, or cancel (full refund).

2. Challenges

1. Pick a song: The Challenges tab is grouped by song title. Each song has ORIGINAL challenges (1 or 2 people) made by naONu and CREATOR challenges uploaded by users.
2. Watch the original: Watch the original dance video (AI dancer) and check the suggested camera height and distance.
3. Full-body photo: Stand facing the camera so you're fully visible from head to toe. For 1-person challenges, the place where you took the photo becomes the video background. For 2-person challenges, the original stage stays the same and the dancer in front turns into you.
4. Song: The finished video includes that challenge's song. If you post it on another platform, that platform's music policy may apply.

The price depends on video length (0.6 credits per second, rounded up). Example: 15 seconds = 9 credits.

3. Memes (coming soon)

This feature swaps the face and clothes of the person in a trending meme video with yours. Unlike challenges, which copy dance moves, it keeps the original video's movement and background and changes only the person. Opening soon.

4. Create

The Create tab is also split into Movies, Challenges and Memes.

• Movies (Community Recipes): Write your own scenes and make your own movie. If you request to publish it, others can use it after review, and each time your scene is used, you get 50% of the fee as reward credits (paid monthly). You can also make a movie starring you from scenes others wrote. Movies are made as series: give the series a title, then a number and title for each episode. Rename the series, edit its description and reorder episodes under Create > My scenes.
• Challenges (Upload my challenge): Upload a video of yourself dancing (3–30 seconds, one person, full body, vertical) along with the song title. After review, it's published as CREATOR under that song, and each time someone else completes a video with your moves, you instantly get 1 credits (not when you use your own challenge). You can't upload other people's videos or celebrity videos, and you can take down your upload anytime.

5. Credits

• Buying: Buy them in Me > Get credits. KRW 4,900 for 6 credits · KRW 9,900 for 13 credits · KRW 29,900 for 43 credits · KRW 99,000 for 150 credits.
• First purchase bonus: We add a bonus to your account's very first payment only. KRW 4,900 pack +2 · KRW 9,900 pack +4 · KRW 29,900 pack +10.
• Web purchase bonus: Pay on the naonu.app website and get 10% more credits (Android and web).
• Invite friends: If a friend enters your invite code within 7 days of signing up, you get 1 credits, and when that friend makes their first purchase, you get 1 more credits (up to 50 credits per month).
• Earn by watching ads: Tap the ad widget on the screen (Ads 0/5) and watch an ad to the end to fill the credit bar. When the bar reaches 100%, you get 1 credit. Up to 5 ads per day. You can drag the widget around with your finger and close it with the ✕ at the top right (you can turn it back on in Me).
• App install missions: Once you've watched all 5 ads for the day, "Install apps and get credits" opens. Install an advertiser's app and finish the mission (open it, sign up, reach a level, etc.), and the credit bar fills by the set amount for each mission. The ad network confirms mission completion, and if you don't meet all the conditions, you won't get the reward.
• Spot the Flaw: Found something odd in a video (broken fingers or text, a face or outfit that changes, differences between episodes)? Take a screenshot and report it with the "Spot flaw" button on the video. If your screenshot matches that moment of the video it's confirmed right away (unclear ones are checked by our team); each confirmed find adds 0.1 credit, paid out each time it reaches 1 credit (up to 5 reports a day). Track it in Me > Spot the Flaw.
• Refund on failure: If the engine can't make your video, the credits you spent are returned automatically.
• Refunds: You can request a refund for unused paid credits within 7 days of purchase. For details, see Article 12 of the Terms of Service.

6. Library: Download · Share · Gift

• Download: Save it to your photo gallery.
• Share: For YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and KakaoTalk, the video file is sent through your phone's share sheet. Threads and LINE are shared by link.
• Gift: Gift the same title to a friend. When your friend opens the link, uploads their photo and gives consent, a video starring your friend is made. A gift must be accepted within 30 days; if it isn't, your credits are returned.

7. Your photos and account

• Face and full-body photos you upload are used only to make videos, and are deleted automatically after 30 days. We don't use them to recognize people by their faces (facial recognition) or to train AI.
• You may upload only your own photos or photos of adults who have given consent. Children under 14 can't sign up.
• Finished videos carry a label saying they were made with AI. Don't remove the label and spread them as if they were real footage.
• Tap Me > Delete account to delete your photos and account information. Remaining credits will be lost, so if you have credits to refund, contact us first.

8. If something goes wrong

• The face doesn't look enough like me: Retake three photos (front, left and right) in a bright place.
• My body is cut off or shaky (challenges): Make sure you're in the frame from head to toe, and shoot from a camera height similar to the original.
• I saw an inappropriate video or scene: Tap "Report / Block" on the creator's work. Our team reviews every report, and works reported by several people are taken down right away. Blocking the creator removes their works from your lists; you can unblock in Me > Blocked creators. For anything else, send the title and a screenshot to the email below.
